Up and Coming: Dream On by Moda

I can't wait to see these fabrics in person! They were designed by Urban Chicks. My wonderful grandmas both have sheets or blankets or tablecloths that look so much like these fabrics that I feel all nostalgic when I look at Dream On by Moda. I love them. Think "vintage linens". So fun!

Do you see it? I will HAVE to find some of this. But... it's not out until October. But I'm going to be on the look out for these. Can't you just see the table runners, aprons, little girls clothes, and the quilts?

I've never been one to actually make a really themed quilt, but I do LOVE Sanae's work, and this might convince me. It's due to hit stores this month, so stay tuned. It's called Haunted by Sanae, for Moda. Let's see these spooktacular fabrics... (Ha ha)

I am always on the hunt for new fabrics and ideas to keep you in the know. Here are a few trends I've noticed in the fabric arena lately:

1. ABC's: School themed fabric is all over the place.

I spent my day yesterday reading to my kids, playing outside, watching my son play a basketball game, reading myself, and making a tutorial with my daughter. It was a perfect day. Those little moments are really life's treasures.
