Join Me for "A Walk Around the Block"

Here in Utah, all our streets are laid out in a very grid-like way.  It makes it nice and easy to find things... or at least that was the theory.  It works for most people, although I will admit that my kids are usually the one's finding the car after we do the grocery shopping.

Anyhow, that lovely grid is the inspiration for my  newest quilt pattern called "A Walk Around the Block."  And I'm sure you can tell why...

This quilt was so much fun to make!!  The pattern includes a Baby/Lap or Twin size pattern.  It was like Christmas after each block was finished.  I couldn't wait to iron them and see how they each turned out.  I wonder if that's why guys like fishing... it's in about the thrill in wondering what is at the end of that line?!  Tangent...  Back to the quilt.

Here's a close up of one of the blocks.  I love how this quilt bunched right up after I washed it.  It's super soft and cuddly.  I just love that.

And now, for the binding.  It gets its own picture because it's at least 25% of the work here!

I used the amazing Heirloom fabrics from Joel Dewberry.  You can get them in the shop, if you'd like the same fabrics.  AND... as always, if you buy a fabric bundle from the shop, my wonderful readers can get a free pattern.  Just let me know in the comments at checkout.  I love this line!!

So if you are interested in making this really fun, very easy quilt using my oh-so-detailed pattern, head on over to the Yards and Yards Etsy shop and look for "A Walk Around the Block."
