How Tula Pink Designs Fabric

I found this post at the Tula Pink blog and thought it was amazing. I always wondered how these designers take the concepts in their heads and turn it into reality. Here is a sample of a fabric designed by Tula Pink that belongs to the Plume Collection:

1. Sketch the idea.
2. Scan it into Adobe Illustrator and redraw the "skeleton."

3. Fill in the skeleton.
4. Begin adding in colors and tweak what needs tweaking.

5.Continue adding colors.

6. The final adjustments!

Anyhow, it's amazing to learn how people do what they do. Love the insiders view on things!

So, if you want to see the rest of this collection, you can view it right HERE.
